Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking
Our fundraising dinner/high tea production of "A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking" by John Ford Noonan stared Melissa Weltner and Ashley Dahart.
Set in suburban Westchester County, New York, this one act play Waltner is Maude Mix, who is having a tough day. Her husband is off on a weekend spree with his secretary, and she can't get rid of the annoying neighbor who has just moved up from Texas, Hannah Mae Bindler, played by Dalhart. And to top it all off, she has lots of cookies to make.
Well, that one bad day leads to Maude and Hannah Mae eventually join forces against their errant and erring husbands.

Fayette County Community Theatre partnered with ARTS to present a Reader's Theater performance blending drama, literature and art. Reader’s Theater is a form of performance that is similar to a radio show, where actors read the script aloud without the use of costumes or props, allowing the audience to focus on the storytelling and vocal expression.
